With a bachelor's in computer science and more than two decades leading MediaPlus (est. Amman, 2003), I've built digital platforms for partners including the Queen Rania Foundation, Pearson Education, and the BBC — from the Karim & Jana mobile apps to Kutubee, a learning platform serving over 100,000 students across the Arab region, and Space Hero with Pearson and Save the Children, teaching math skills to Syrian refugee children.
My work centres on edutainment, serious games, and immersive learning. Current projects include the Sesame Street Arabic digital platform with the IRC and Project 21 with FES Germany — a participatory mobile game promoting civic literacy among youth, with a focus on young women. At BeeLabs, our gaming and animation studio, we develop edutainment games, XR experiences, and AI-driven creative pipelines.
In animation, I led the first Arabian cartoon series, "Masageel" (2010), and the first Jordanian cartoon series, "Nahfat Ailetna" (نهفات عيلتنا). On season four I directed and co-wrote the series and recorded the voice of one of its lead characters, Abu Karim — with series produced for MBC TV, Roya TV, Jordan TV, and NGOs. With iHeritage, I managed AR/VR work for Petra and heritage sites, including a virtual museum spanning web, mobile, and VR headsets.
I'm also a digital musician of 20+ years, a mentor to young developers and artists, and a public speaker at universities in Jordan and Saudi Arabia on gaming, animation, and gamification.
